For our group we are doing a Physical Therapist. We all want to do Physical Therapist, faith and mary both have tons of equipment mary has some stretchy bands and the pictures of the movements, Here are the reasons of why we all would like to do Physical therapy...
Our whole group has TONS of background knowledge on this topic. Mary has been to a physical therapist loads of times (and still does go) for her elbow. It is such an interesting and easy-to-learn topic that by the end of our presentation you'll be able to know the names of equipment, movements, etc. This and what you need/get for the occupation. We will teach you all about how much a therapist makes, where they went to school for it, what skills are learned, how they interact with their patients, and how they found interest for the job. Our presentation will include a demonstration, which our group will be "acting" in. This demo may also have some audience interaction incorporated as well. We have so many other creative ideas for ths topic--we are very excited! We want to teach about our experiences to the audience so they understand how it all works. The other individual topis would have all worked but, we have decided to go with physical therapy because it is more "science related". We are going to discuss how the bones, muscles, and nerves function properly (we may also include how they would function unproperly such as after a severe accident) and during the different therapy stretches and exercizes. Another thing we can teach about is how the physical therapy helps your body recover after an accident. The difference between physical and the "how-do-you-feel-about-that?" kind of therapy will also be shown in our project. Mary will also be able to talk about her experience with physical therapy espaecially now after a recent surgery being done to her elbow. We will come up with even more ideas to incorporate into our presentation because there is an endless amount of information to find in therapy. I think this will be a very interesting topic to share with other people because it is very fascinating and fun. This is why we picked the topic Physical therapy. :)
